Property Evaluation
As part of our management services your home will be inspected by a licensed real estate professional as well as a member of our maintenance team. This allows us to make any recommendations on necessary repairs that should be completed to attract quality tenants as well as pass any applicable city inspections and to determine the most aggressive, market appropriate rental rate that should be charged for your home.

Tenant Screening
When potential tenants fill out an application we ask for the following to be turned in with full application packet:
- Photo ID
- Social Security Card
- 6 months Proof of Income
- Minimum of 3 months of paystubs or bank statements (if income directly deposited)
- Prior year W2
- Retirement or Social Security Income Statement
- Proof of Court Ordered Child Support
- $40 application fee which can be cash or money order made out to AG Management Co.

Security Deposits
Security Deposits are typically 1.5 times the monthly rent of the property.

Lease Preparation
Lease signing can be done in our office or electronically. Once your application is approved you will be contacted to make arrangements to sign your lease by one of our leasing agents.
Birmingham Area Information
George H. Mitchell and Almeron Whitehead, who were two of a small group of bachelors who had formed a club called The Eccentrics, published the first edition of their newspaper which they named after their club on May 2, 1878. At a price of 2 cents, The Eccentric provided a "live home paper, replete with all the news of the day" with considerable emphasis on the "local items of importance occurring in Birmingham and immediate vicinity". By the turn of the 20th century, The Eccentric ran advertisements for Detroit stores and theaters as well as offers of property and houses suitable for the "commuter". In the 1920s, the slogan of The Eccentric was "For a Bigger and Better Birmingham". Today, the Birmingham Eccentric newspaper continues its role as keeper of the community's local heritage.
